Mood Board Design Contest

This is my Mood Board submission for the newest contest by decor8 and Amy Butler! The idea behind the contest is to create a room that you would love to live in. I really enjoyed creating this mood board as I feel it expresses my personality well. Color, summer, fresh breezes, cuddling up with a gorgeous quilt, watching a good movie next to my honey, the romantic glow of twinkling lights on a warm summer evening - aaahh - peaceful. Cheers to the lingering lazy days of summer!

Finnish Collection

Vintage Modern at its best! Introducing the newest collection at lorenzstudio - the Finnish Collection. How cute are these Vintage Race Car Cake Toppers! I have fond memories as a child of my mother making homemade birthday cakes, but I think homemade birthday cakes have now taken a back seat to store bought cakes because people's lives are so busy. I mean who has the time anymore!?! But why not do it up simple? These little cake toppers have so much charm and personality, I can see them atop a simple white frosted cake surrounding a few candles and delighting children of all ages!

Modern Charm

I have been growing my hair out for about a year now and it's starting to act a little crazy lately. (The "curse" of having curly hair I guess) So lately, I have been trying to decide what fun things I can do with it for the summer. And along comes the perfect headband from Modern Charm! Mendy graciously and generously offered up one for free to me after posting my Turquoise Pillow Cover on her blog. You see, it was a little contest and I am so blog-obsessed lately, that I found my link on her blog and won! I got to pick any one of her headbands, which was very hard to do because they are all so cute, but this one has the perfect colors for me and of course I love the floral print of the fabric. Vintage Fabric Wall Art Hanging

I have turned a gorgeous piece of vintage fabric into an amazing piece of artwork just waiting to make its way into your home. It would look perfect in an office, bedroom, living room or dining room.

This fabric was given to me by a sweet fellow blogger in a vintage swap and features the prettiest aqua blue, silvery gray and snow white design on a sand-colored background. The fabric has been stretched over a frame and is ready to hang on your wall!
