Mad Max '08 Urban Assault Vehicle

Ring Ring Ring...

Ean-"Hey"

Sean-"Hey, Honkey, let go play with guns"

Ean, "Ok"

3 hours later this shows up... I love this guy!!! I've always wondered how a shot-gun strapped to my back would go over in the SoCal rush hour traffic on the I-15 while riding my enduro? Frankly I'd rather ride my dirt bike into the hills to go shooting, rather than drive my big diesel beast. Ean, would rather get 70MPG on his Vespa with his 20 Guage Shot-Gun bungied to the passenger seat.

Ean pulls up into the driveway...

Sean- "When did you get that?"

Ean- "A couple months ago"

Sean- "Why"

Ean- "I've always liked Vespas"

Sean- "Vespa-this.... Dude, that's a moped... And friends laugh at friends who ride Vespas, so... Ha..."

Ean says the CHP only tailed him for 5 exits. I think I'll have to give it a go... Vespaless of course... I'm not man enough for that Moped stuff?

Cheers to the Moped Riding Metrosexuals in the world... Man-up and strap a shot gun to it... I'll only laugh at you once...Ha...

Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get away from the Doop-Dog.
Our little huntress loves to stalk animals and generally, anything that might be moving, including a leaf that might be carried in the air by the slightest breeze. The thing is, she's never actually gotten close enough to anything (living) to actually capture it. Until now. Our morning jog consists of running past the donkeys, around Chancy's house, up the little hill past the barking dogs and around the corner...where the chickens and roosters live....Every once in a while we will see a loose chicken while driving, and we just chuckle to ourselves that we really live in a place where chickens actually get out and on the loose. Well, Monday morning, one of those roosters was loose. And they do not run very fast. And Deefor does run very fast. Before I knew it, she was on top of the poor thing, practically smothering it, but luckily, I was close and saved the poor thing from its demise (gosh I hope the neighbors aren't reading this). So, in honor of Doofaloop's first official caputre (but not killing!) of an animal, Sean bought her a wife beater wearing, tatoo sportin', doggles on the head, sqeeky toy chicken. It's the tackiest thing I've ever seen and she loves that thing to death. She gnaws at its feet, squeezes its middle so it squeaks, throws it around up in the air, brings it to mother so mother can throw it and Deefor can fetch it and obviously sleeps with it. What's a mother to do?

Day 17 - Bryce Canyon, UT

The condo-on-wheels on its way to Bryce Canyon, Utah.

Sean told me to stay in one spot, and he was going to go climb through the hole (underneath him on the left side of the picture) so I could take a picture of him. This was as close as he got.

If you look closely, you can see snow!

Does this count as snow?

Someone decided we should take a "back road" to get to our next destination - an adventure he called it!

60+ miles and 3 hours later, we found the end of our dirt road. I'm sure it's a beautiful drive in the daylight!

Day 9 Pocatello and Richfield, ID

The gang at Plume Gables.

Off to Richfield to visit family friends.
Sean got schooled by the girls.
Shelby and I went exploring.
We were trying to visit the abandoned house, but apparently we took a wrong turn and were separated from the house by the river.

The local swimmin' hole.

Day 8 - Pocatello, ID

I came around the corner to find that my husband and the plume had devised some sort of "throwing a large stick" game. Be sure to click on each pic to enlarge them. I have my own opinion, but I'll let you decide who has the better form!

Doof-Dog dwarfed by the landscape.
