SxS Stadium Series - Round 5

Winding down from a great weekend of racing up in Perris and gearing up for what is going to be an insane weekend of racing at Lake Elsinore. Rounds 5 and 6 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series take place this Saturday (27th) and Sunday (28th). If you've never been to a short course off road event before, I guarantee, if you stop by this weekend, you will not be disappointed. Here's a little taste of short course action at the Mickey Thompson / Kal-Gard SxS Stadium Series - Round 5.

This one's for you, Ma in Law

We often get asked where else we post our pictures, besides our blog and on website.
OK. Really, it's only one person asking us the same question over and over and I promised I would post the link today for my MIL.
After every SxS Stadium Series Race we create a new banner for UTV Underground and post our "Best of the Best" photos on their forums.
I just love hearing feedback from the racers we captured on "film."

Good Things Come From Ramona

After the LOORRs race in Primm, Sean proceeded to tell the whole race-dezert forum that I think the Trophy Kart kids are the best thing since sliced bread.
It's true.
I'm jealous.
All I did at their age was ride my bike around the neighborhood and I totally admire these kids.
Here's the problem-if I've met the kids (or their parents) I totally root for them. I've only met a handful of people so far, so I don't know what I'm going to do at the end of the season when I know everybody!
But this past Saturday, it was all about Ramona. (Ok, I know Dave Mason isn't from Ramona, but his mom did tell us that he was practically living in Ramona while he brand spankin' new TK was being built just down the street from us.)
So meet your top 3 finishers from Saturday night's race.

I have some great racing pics to post, so stay tuned...

SxS Stadium Series - Round 2

To be fair...
we're still going through the myriads of photos from this weekend.
Dont' pick your favorites yet,
because this set of photos is from only one half of lorenzstudio.
Is it the girl half? Or the boy half?
We'll have another post up tomorrow with the other half's pics and then the voting can begin.

My New Job (Just one of many)

Women are few and far between on this track . I'm finding it a bit difficult to remember to keep shooting when a truck flips over end to end, or when a Trophy Kart comes hot off the corner on 2 of its 4 wheels. It must be the womanly instinct in me that forgets what she's doing, puts down the camera and wants to know that the driver (and possibly) passenger are ok. I have more than a few shots of Sean on the track attending to drivers of vehicles with broken parts, but he keeps shooting until the vehicle lands safely. Gotta remember that part for next time!

LORENZstudio name The OFFICIAL SxS Stadium Series Photographers for 2009, Perris California

This chick blog will be getting more post like this one.... We're "OFFICIAL"... Dirt is our new hobby... we'll "Officially" anyways.

We had a full weekend of media blitzing and events. SxS Series on Friday and Saturday, Lance Armstrong on Sunday.

Me and Suzy have a side bet on who gets the best shot award. She nabbed last weeks SABOBA Grand Prix best pic. I think I got the Tour de California, and Round #1 of SxS Stadium Series.....but, we'll let you choose. We'll make it an interactive prize fight to the death kind of ordeal. We'll put the photos up, you choose the one you like the most, and you send either Suzy or I to the sink to do the dishes. 1st looser does dishes. I know it sound a bit like bragging... But I've never been one to pass up a little competition. So onward... The Dirty Dishes are in you hands Bloggets (and bloggers if we still have some dudes wandering through)

Pssst... We won't let you know who's responsible for each pic until the little Husband/Wife competition is settled for the week.
