Just Keep Looking

I can't believe how many things there are to discover on the mile round trip walk to the mailboxes.

What's a Girl and Her Dog to do...

...when they get stuck in a hail storm in the middle of their walk?
Duck under the tree until loud pounding of hail subsides to a softer tone,
make a run for it past the dogs, down the hill and around the bend,
while politely refusing a ride home from a neighbor driving by.
Just a few more reasons I love the country.
